Supporters of Plan A — the amendment to the Cape Elizabeth Zoning Ordinance that will allow for the development of a gigantic apartment building with 49 one-bedroom apartments on the town green — are spreading a rumor that I am “lying” because the developer of Dunham Court sweetened the offer with a handful of larger apartments before it walked away from the deal. It’s no lie. If Plan A passes in November we can expect not only the next proposal to contain 49 one-bedroom apartments but there won’t even be a public hearing. Find out why in this week’s podcast.
