After a two-week trial and five days of deliberation by a jury in state court in New York City, Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein was convicted this week of rape and sexual assault and led off to prison in handcuffs.
His defense attorney, Donna Rotunno, said with a straight face following the trial, “Harvey is unbelievably strong. He took it like a man,” as her client slumped over a walker looking dazed and unkempt.
Did Rotunno cross a line?
Is there more at stake than Weinstein’s liberty?
